Through the WorkSafe Scheme, you can inspect, monitor and improve your employee’s skills and performance. When you register as a contractor, WorkSafe Inspectors will liaise with an aquatinted person within your company, informing them of any health and safety hazards at the client’s home or business. As a contractor, you can receive annual performance certificates, which is beneficial when obtaining new contracts. We offer free health and safety courses which are easily accessible by your tradesmen and tradeswomen. Additionally, all tradespeople will opt in to our BPSS benefits and awards scheme.
How does it work?
Each contractor is assigned a building inspector who work with them to make sure the
necessary paperwork and documentation is complete, providing one-to-one support
throughout.

To fulfil your responsibility as an employer, ensure your employees register to WorkSafe Support and take our annual health and safety course.
Our Health and Safety Course would enlighten employees on ensuring that the finished product of construction meets the required safety standards to promote safe workplace practices. You will learn about the procedures for safely erecting, dismantling, and modifying construction projects, how to plan and safely execute building works, and the possible risks and control systems to manage associated building risks.
