About Us

We are the UK’s Number 1 recognised trade association of the construction industry. We are proud to support all accredited building & maintenance companies – including sole traders – across all of the United Kingdom.

At WorkSafe Support, we’re dedicated to making construction safer. We help clients and contractors ensure that safe works is carried out at all times. Housing and development projects often involve high-risk activities that can significantly impact the health or wellbeing of a wide range of people, from workers to local communities.
Regardless of which type of work, we help ensure that the project progresses as intended. Working in partnership with the contractor and client, we provide an independent view of the project and how the job is moving ahead.
WorkSafe Support helps small to medium companies minimise health and safety incidents in the workplace, additionally we can support property owners to safeguard their business from damage and legal liabilities.

Building Better Communities

WorkSafe Support is deeply committed to improving communities and fostering the economic growth within. Each year, we serve our communities with causes they are passionate about.
We work directly with local councils, local businesses property owners, and local charities to improve building safety in England. By fostering lasting relationships and providing community support, we can champion several important causes while simultaneously promoting a strong culture of caring from within.
We take immense pride in helping others, the smiling faces of those we assist give us great satisfaction.
The United Kingdom has been hit hard by a multitude of issues over the last two years. We appear to have lurched from one crisis to another. COVID-19, economic turmoil, racial tension, and societal inequalities have caused friction and fracture within our urban neighbourhoods. WorkSafe Support believe we can and must do better, by creating sustainable neighbourhoods in which people feel valued.
We ensure that we remodel buildings and properties in our neighbourhoods and fund them appropriately. It’s a long-term strategy, which requires local government help and support. We need to consider the affect that pollution is having on our communities. We will develop a greener landscape where appropriate for better human lifespan.
We will also utilise new technologies and materials to build in more environmentally friendly ways, with projects interrogated for their environmental credentials before being given the green light. When introducing a greener landscape, WorkSafe Support will ensure local transport systems are fit for purpose. We will support rapid bus transport, more cycle lanes, and other innovative transport solutions. Ensure that public transport takes priority over private vehicles, and that pedestrians can move around neighbourhoods safely.
We have the technology to build smart urban landscapes using digital technologies to improve public safety and increase efficiency of energy usage. The construction industry is likely to be driven by technology as it seeks to adopt more sustainable practices, and ‘virtual construction’ allows us to build better, faster, and with greater quality and safety. Local governments and city councils may build for all the right reasons, but if the community is not involved it can feel like initiatives are something being done to them rather than for them.

Identify the need – with the community

Sit down with community leaders and local councils to discover how WorkSafe can improve the safety in properties in which people live and work. Allow people to share their views, concerns and desires.

Plan what must be done – with the community

WorkSafe will enlist neighbourhood representatives to help develop plans to move forward on the highest priorities. Brainstorm ideas that can be used to show immediate results and that help to engage the wider community in each project. Even small projects can have meaningful results.

Develop a neighbourhood alliance

Building better neighbourhoods and developing positive communities cannot be achieved overnight. It requires a sustained effort in which pride and engagement grows. Therefore, WorkSafe has built a committee which can be aligned to all neighbourhood improvement projects. Progress will never be made in a straight line, but it is essential that progress is developed from within and that passion for improvement is cultivated. We believe that being proactive and developing within communities will build trust with those who live there, encouraging them to take the lead and continue to both nurture and add to the growth of their surroundings.
